ARRT - CT Technologist / Imaging Specialist
Location: Lynchburg
Bring Clarity to Patient Care in a Place That Balances Beauty, Brains, and Heart If you're an ARRT-certified CT Technologist looking for more than just another clinical position - if you want to be part of a team that values precision, empathy, and professional growth - you've landed in the right spot. Here, your skills will play a direct role in improving diagnostic accuracy, accelerating care, and creating a better experience for every patient who walks through our doors. Whether you're newly certified or bringing years of experience to the scanner, you'll be surrounded by a team that values your attention to detail, your patient-first mindset, and your drive to keep learning. You'll be the kind of person who sees the image beyond the image - the human behind the scan - and who knows how to balance accuracy with compassion, even during the busiest shifts. You'll have access to modern equipment, the flexibility to grow into new roles, and the support of radiologists and clinicians who understand that great imaging is only part of the equation - great teamwork is the rest. What Your Role Will Look Like This full-time role offers flexible scheduling and plenty of hands-on time with patients. You'll be performing CT scans according to detailed imaging protocols, ensuring each image meets diagnostic standards while prioritizing patient comfort and safety. You'll adjust technical settings, manage equipment operation, and assist with accurate positioning - all while keeping your workflow smooth and your patient interactions thoughtful. You'll document procedures, maintain imaging records, and play a vital role in facilitating quick and accurate results for the medical team. Why You'll Love the Team - and the Community Around You The people you'll work with are here because they care - about the work, about each other, and about raising the bar for patient-centered care. We invest in professional development, provide opportunities for advancement, and maintain a culture that's respectful, tight-knit, and low on hierarchy. Whether you're seeking mentorship, leadership, or just a well-run imaging department where your input matters, you'll find it here. And the place? It's hard to beat. Tucked among the rolling, forested hills of southern Virginia, this town blends the kind of historic charm you can feel in the brick sidewalks with the intellectual energy of nearby universities and the relaxed rhythm of life by the river. On your off days, you might find yourself hiking a trail, catching a concert downtown, or grabbing coffee near campus. It's scenic, it's spirited, and it's grounded in a sense of community that's hard to manufacture. What We're Looking For You'll need an Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field, and ARRT (CT) certification is required. We welcome new grads who are ready to jump in, and those pursuing additional credentials or specialties will have our full support. You'll need strong knowledge of CT protocols, a deep understanding of radiation safety, and an ability to make patients feel at ease from start to finish. Let's Make Every Scan Count - Together If you're ready to be part of a high-performing imaging team in a place that feels as good as it looks, we'd love to meet you. Apply today and bring your technical skills, patient-centered spirit, and commitment to clarity to a workplace where your impact is real and your future is wide open.
