Catering Crew Member – Mobile Events & Pop-Ups Quesadilla Gorilla Overview: We would be absolutely nothing without our incredible Crew Members! As a Catering Crew Member , you’ll represent our brand out in the wild—at pop-ups, farmers markets, breweries, wineries, weddings, and other off-site events—bringing great energy, high-quality quesadillas, and authentic hospitality wherever we go. This role is for someone who thrives in dynamic environments, can hustle under pressure, and enjoys connecting with people. You’ll help create memorable food experiences while supporting the operational flow of our mobile catering setups. Key Responsibilities: Set up and break down Quesadilla Gorilla mobile stations at events (tents, tables, signage, cooking equipment, etc.) Greet and serve guests in a friendly, efficient, and high-energy manner Prepare and cook quesadillas to order using our standard recipes Assemble, package, and hand off food orders with accuracy and care Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the event Assist with loading and unloading supplies, equipment, and product Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times Communicate effectively with the team to ensure smooth service Represent the Quesadilla Gorilla brand positively in public settings Requirements: Prior food service or catering experience is preferred but not required Able to work on your feet for long periods (6+ hours) Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds (event gear, food supplies, etc.) Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions Reliable transportation to get to event locations (often early mornings or evenings) Flexible availability, including weekends and some holidays 16+ years old Friendly, adaptable, and team-oriented Great multitasking and communication skills Strong attention to cleanliness and detail in a fast-paced setting Working Hours: This is a part-time, event-based position with variable hours depending on the event schedule. Shifts may range from 4–10 hours depending on the size and location of the event. Weekend and evening availability is critical.
