MCHC is seeking a Float Temporary Patient Services Representative (PSR) to join our Dental Department. As the first point of contact for dental patients, you play a critical role in creating a welcoming, organized, and supportive experience from check-in to check-out. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working as part of a care team, and is committed to providing exceptional customer service in a healthcare setting.

What You'll Do

Welcome patients and visitors with professionalism, courtesy, and warmth Schedule and manage patient appointments, including follow-up visits Verify insurance eligibility and guide patients through financial assistance options Assist patients with registration, forms, and use of the patient portal Collect payments and maintain accurate financial records Maintain and update patient information in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) Ensure reception and waiting areas are clean, organized, and welcoming Requirements High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) One or more years of customer service experience Willing and able to travel between 3 clinics located in Ukiah, Willits, and Lakeport on a regular basis Preferred Qualifications Two or more years of reception experience in a dental or medical office Bilingual, English/Spanish, fluent
