Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Nephrology / Med-Tele – South Carolina

Start Date: April 13, 2026
Location: Columbia, South Carolina
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 36 hours per week; 4:1 patient ratio on days, nights, and weekends; weekend coverage as needed

Highlights:

• Nephrology-focused unit with diverse patient population including newly diagnosed DM, ESRD, stable trauma, and Med/Tele patients
• Adult population (ages 18-87) with 25-28 bed unit and daily census of approximately 25
• Epic EMR system with extensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, rapid response, pharmacy, and more
• Comprehensive orientation with paid pre-assignment modules (up to 16 hours reimbursable)
• 13-week travel assignment with ability to extend based on eligibility requirements
• Trauma Level II facility experience preferred

Requirements:

• Active RN license in good standing
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Strong Medical-Surgical and Telemetry skills; Neuro skills highly valued
• Minimum 1 year of recent unit experience required
• Minimum 1 year of Epic EMR experience required
• Experience with interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Large facility and travel nursing experience required
• Patient ratio experience with up to 5 patients
• Charge nurse experience preferred
• Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)
• Must reside 100+ miles from facility or meet specific distance requirements
