The Analyst/Associate, AREX Client Services supports the Ares Real Estate Exchange (AREX) platform by serving as a key point of coordination between financial advisors, investors, product specialists, loan underwriting, and the AREX Closing Team. AREX is Ares' real estate exchange solution that allows investors selling appreciated investment real estate to defer capital gains taxes through a 1031 exchange into a diversified portfolio of institutional-quality real estate. This role is responsible for managing the front end of the AREX transaction lifecycle, including the dissemination and tracking of offering materials, intake and review of investor applications, coordination of required documentation for KYC and AML purposes, and accurate data entry into internal systems. The Analyst/Associate plays a critical role in ensuring transactions are complete, accurate, timely, and ready for a smooth handoff to the AREX Closing Team, while maintaining a high standard of client and advisor service.
Essential Job Duties
Support the AREX Product Specialists and Sales teams by disseminating and tracking offering and marketing materials for financial advisors and their clients
Serve as a primary contact for financial advisors and their clients during the application phase, providing guidance on required documentation, timelines, and the overall AREX investment process
Receive, review, and track investor and loan applications to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with internal standards
Gather, review, and organize trust, LLC, partnership, and corporate documentation for KYC and AML review
Enter and maintain accurate investor and transaction data in internal systems, including Salesforce
Track key dates, deadlines, and milestones throughout the application and pre-closing process
Act as a liaison between AREX Product Specialists, the Client Services team, loan underwriting, and the AREX Closing Team to ensure a seamless and efficient transfer of transactions
Communicate proactively with financial advisors, investors, sales, and internal stakeholders regarding application status, outstanding items, and next steps
Assist with AREX investor account maintenance requests in coordination with the broader Client Services team
Contribute to continuous improvement of internal processes, systems, and tracking tools to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and client experience
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience required
Minimum of one year of experience in a client service, operations, or transaction support role, preferably within financial services, real estate, or investment management
Experience working with high-net-worth clients and managing detailed documentation and workflows
Familiarity with trust, LLC, partnership, and corporate entity documentation
Working knowledge of real estate transactions, applications, and related documentation
Experience with KYC and AML processes is preferred
Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management skills
Professional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently with advisors and clients
Ability to learn quickly and adhere to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team
Proficiency with Salesforce, Microsoft Word, and Adobe Acrobat

Compensation
$65,000 - $85,000
