Banquet Manager Manhattan Landmark Event Venue We are seeking an experienced Banquet Manager to join the service team at a prestigious Manhattan landmark venue. The ideal candidate has experience working within a Local 6 union environment, and is passionate about delivering exceptional hospitality at the highest level. You will be part of a dynamic team that executes flawless events and creates memorable guest experiences. Who You Are A hospitality professional with a minimum of two years’ experience as a Banquet Manager or Banquet Captain in a luxury hotel or high-end catering operation Highly organized with strong project management skills A proactive leader who takes initiative and drives continuous improvement Passionate about hospitality, team leadership, and creating exceptional guest experiences What You’ll Do Lead by example through professional conduct, clear communication, and a service-first mindset Execute Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) with precision and attention to detail Anticipate guest needs and resolve service challenges swiftly and thoughtfully Lead and participate in daily pre-shift meetings to review event logistics and service standards Maintain organization and cleanliness of banquet storage areas, uniforms, and service spaces Support the development and enforcement of policies, procedures, and quality standards to ensure a high-performing, cost-effective operation Build relationships with repeat clientele and foster connections with new guests
