Catering Tucson is seeking a dependable Catering Prep Cook to join our kitchen team. This role is essential in preparing fresh meals for catering orders and events. The Catering Prep Cook will assist the main cook with food preparation, organization, and kitchen cleanliness to ensure smooth and efficient service. Responsibilities

* Prepare ingredients including chopping, portioning, and packaging. * Assist with cooking tasks and follow direction from the lead cook. * Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including dishwashing and sanitizing. * Help with labeling, storing, and rotating food and supplies. * Support setup and breakdown of catering orders and events. * Follow all food safety and sanitation standards. * Perform additional duties as assigned to support kitchen operations.

Requirements

* Prior kitchen or food service experience preferred, but not required. * Ability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays when needed. * Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs. * Team-oriented with good communication skills. * Reliable transportation to and from work. * Food Handler's Card (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire).
