We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Medical Assistant to provide exceptional support in a busy outpatient family medicine clinic. Required Skills:

  • Graduate of an accredited medical assistant training program (CAAHEP or ABHES) or formal military medical services training
  • Current certification as a Medical Assistant (American Association of Medical Assistants, American Medical Technologists, or equivalent)
  • Minimum of one year of full-time CMA experience in outpatient family practice or primary care within the last three years
  • BLS certification
  • Strong clinical skills including vital signs measurement, obtaining patient histories, and performing diagnostic procedures
  • Ability to prepare examination rooms, maintain supplies, and perform routine maintenance
  • Proficiency in patient check-in procedures, data entry, and documentation accurately in electronic health records
  • Excellent patient rapport, communication skills, and professionalism

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Experience with x-ray and lab requisitions
  • Bilingual abilities
  • Familiarity with scheduling and administrative support tasks

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Certification registered or recognized by relevant professional bodies
  • At least one year of recent outpatient family medicine CMA experience

Other Requirements:

  • Full-time commitment (Monday to Friday, 0730-1600)
  • No more than 7 days of RTO in the first 90 days (must be noted at submission)
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare setting
  • Compliance with all applicable regulations and clinic policies

  • Hourly Pay Rate: $20.11
