Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)

Insight Global is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join a community-focused primary care clinic that prioritizes compassionate, accessible, and high-quality patient care. This individual will play a critical role in supporting providers, maintaining efficient clinic operations, and ensuring a positive patient experience in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Room patients; obtain and document vitals, medical history, and chief complaints
• Prepare patients for exams and assist providers with procedures
• Administer immunizations/medications and perform point-of-care testing (strep, flu, UA, glucose)
• Perform EKGs, injections, ear lavages, and other delegated clinical tasks
• Support efficient patient flow, care coordination, referrals, and prior authorizations
• Communicate results and follow-up instructions as directed
• Maintain clean, stocked exam rooms and support inventory management
• Adhere to infection control, OSHA, and HIPAA standards
• Collaborate with clinical and front office staff to support a positive, team-based environment

Skills and Requirements

• Active Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Prior primary care experience preferred
