Responsibilities: Foster an environment built on trust and respect among associates.
Welcome and assist customers, addressing their inquiries regarding products available in-store.
Accurately count, balance, and manage daily cash and paper assets.
Prepare and secure cash and check deposits efficiently.
Generate daily and weekly sales and cash reports.
Timely report all sales and register transactions to the Store Manager or Division Cash Management Office according to company policies.
Maintain Kronos and Timekeeping systems to finalize weekly payroll operations.
Assist the management team with various administrative tasks.
Handle incoming phone calls and facilitate communication between store associates and customers.
Record daily cash shortages and overages in accordance with established guidelines.
Follow procedures for money handling, including postage stamps, money orders, gift certificates, lottery tickets, and Western Union transfers.
Ensure compliance with safety guidelines by identifying and reporting unsafe conditions.
Notify management regarding any customer or employee accidents.
Report safety risks or illegal activities, including theft or fraud.
Encourage a collaborative team environment to promote teamwork.
Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations, along with company protocols.
Exhibit the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and sometimes high-stress environment.
Manage conflicts constructively and cooperatively.
Act with honesty and integrity when handling customer and business information.
Follow instructions carefully and seek assistance proactively to resolve issues.
Provide support and assistance to minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.

Qualifications Minimum: Ability to handle stress effectively.
Strong communication skills.
Proficient in using a 10-key adding machine.
Basic math skills, including counting, addition, and subtraction.
Desired: Previous bookkeeping or clerical experience.
Experience in customer service roles.
Proficiency in a second language (speaking, reading, or writing).
