About the Role:
As a CBRE Lead Data Center M&E Technician, you will focus on maintaining and
troubleshooting critical building systems, such as HVAC, electrical, and fire/life safety-
through daily inspections, preventative maintenance, and emergency response. The
technician ensures safety, regulatory compliance, and system reliability while coordinating
with vendors and documenting all work. A technical background, Journeyman/Electrician
or HVAC EPA 608 license, and experience in mission-critical environments are essential.
Other common job titles: Critical Facilities Technician, Data Center HVAC Technician, Data
Center Electrician. Relevant military experience will be considered.
What You'll Do:
Assist with daily site inspections of all Mechanical & Engineering systems and technical
equipment, including servicing and maintenance.
Perform preventative maintenance in accordance with OEM recommendations and
industry standards.
Ensure the site's environmental conditions provide a safe work environment.
Work with third-party vendors, ensuring compliance with company-developed processes, procedures, and all applicable laws and regulations.
Alert management if subcontractor performance doesn't meet all requirements per the Master Service Agreement.
Complete planned preventative maintenance (PM) and reactive maintenance on all
equipment.
Check BMS for running and alarm conditions and respond to HVAC or Electrical-related
client problems.
Complete assigned work according to established processes and procedures.
Follow all safety processes and requirements and ensure all regulatory requirements and quality
standards are met.
Conduct routine quality checks for comprehensive records.
What You’ll Need:
• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Ability to work shifts that may include weekends and holidays
• Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and
the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
• Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems.
• Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
• Organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.
• Intermediate math skills. Ability to calculate difficult figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial related calculations.

The minimum salary for the Workplace Experience Events Coordinator position is $60,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Workplace Experience Events Coordinator position is $65,000 annually.
