Dental Assistant

Standley Lake Family Dental is an established general dentistry clinic seeking an experienced dental assistant or EDDA to join our team full-time. This is a 4 day per week position providing you with long weekends and a great work life balance! Our practice is home to a fantastic doctor who genuinely cares about her patients and team members, and a supportive, upbeat team that makes coming to work enjoyable. Schedule: We have a rotating schedule, alternating Mondays and Fridays.

Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays 7am-4pm

Wednesdays 8am-5pm

Fridays 7am-2pm

Compensation: $25-$30/hr, plus bonus opportunities

Responsibilities:

• Genuinely welcome patients into the practice
• Assist the dentist chairside
• A thorough review and update of the patient's health history
• Prepare patients for treatment, ensuring the highest level of care and comfort are achieved
• Sterilization of instruments according to OSHA regulations
• Select and set up instruments, equipment, and supplies as needed for each operatory
• Present and enter treatment plans into Denticon
• Provide post-operative instructions
• Order and stock supplies, and any additional duties as necessary

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience as a dental assistant in general dentistry required
• Active CPR Certification required
• X-Ray Certification Required
• EDDA experience and certification preferred
• Dental Assistant Certification preferred
