Position Overview:

V&E Hospitality Group is currently seeking motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Food Runners. Food Runners play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and seamless flow of food from the kitchen to the dining area, contributing to the overall guest experience. Key Responsibilities:

1. Food Delivery: Transport food orders from the kitchen to the appropriate table promptly, ensuring accuracy in food placement and presentation.
2. Order Verification: Confirm that the delivered dishes match the corresponding table's order and accurately fulfill any special requests or dietary restrictions.
3. Guest Interaction: Interact with guests in a courteous and friendly manner, delivering dishes with a smile and assisting with any additional requests they may have.
4. Team Coordination: Collaborate closely with servers, kitchen staff, and other team members to maintain a smooth and efficient flow of food service.
5. Clear Tables: Assist in clearing used dishes, glassware, and utensils from tables as needed to maintain a clean and welcoming dining environment.
6. Table Maintenance: Assist in resetting tables and ensuring they are clean and properly set for the next guests.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Food Runner or in a similar role is preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure.
• Positive attitude and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Physical qualifications:

·       Ability to move throughout the dining room effectively.

·       Ability to lift and carry serving trays weighing up to 15lbs and bus tubs weighing up to 40 lbs.

·       Ability to perform reaching and stooping motions.
