Clinic/Practice Assistant

We are seeking a full-time, 40-hour Clinic/Practice Assistant to support the practice onsite. The schedule for the position will be Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm. Rotating weekends and holidays from 8:00am to 12:00pm are expected as well.

Job Summary

This role supports healthcare teams by assisting with both clinical and non-clinical patient services under the direction of healthcare providers. Key responsibilities include taking vital signs, documenting patient information, scheduling appointments, and managing patient flow. This role involves direct interaction with patients to ensure their comfort and address concerns, as well as collaboration with physicians, nurse practitioners, and nursing staff to facilitate efficient care.

Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent required. Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? No.

Licenses and Credentials: Basic Life Support [BLS Certification] - Data Conversion - Various Issuers preferred. Certified Medical Assistant - Data Conversion - Various Issuers preferred.

Experience: Direct MA experience or medical field work 0-1 year preferred.
