Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Assists patients with activities of daily living such as feeding, toileting and hygiene
  2. Provides basic nursing care to non-acutely and acutely ill patients
  3. Assists in maintenance of a safe and clean environment
  4. Works under the directions and supervision of the registered nurse in charge of the team and/or unit
  5. Answers phones and call lights
  6. Ensures unit is stocked with supplies
  7. Assists patient transporter as needed
  8. Other duties as assigned

Shifts: Day Shift 0700-1930 including some weekends shifts

Qualifications

Experience:

1 or more years of nursing assistant experience (strongly preferred)

Certifications:

Certified Nursing Assistant (preferred)

Current BLS certification, required

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

Ability to read and communicate effectively in English

Basic computer knowledge
