Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An exciting opportunity is available for a full-time Occupational Therapist specializing in school-based therapy, serving K-12 students with mild to severe needs. This contract position is located in Clearlake, CA, and offers the chance to work with a manageable caseload of under 50 students, supporting their developmental and educational progress through targeted occupational therapy interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide occupational therapy services to students across K-12 with varying levels of need, from mild to severe.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other support personnel to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Assess student needs and create customized therapy plans that promote functional participation in academic and daily activities.
• Monitor student progress and adjust therapeutic approaches as necessary to achieve goals.
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and state regulations.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in school settings.
• Knowledge of therapy techniques and interventions suitable for K-12 students.
• Ability to manage a caseload of under 50 students effectively.
• Familiarity with IEP development and educational team collaboration.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with students, families, and staff.
