Job responsibilities Diagnose and manage acute and chronic mental health conditions. Order and interpret diagnostic tests. Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications and other treatments. Collaborate with healthcare team members and coordinate patient care. Manage patients with challenging behaviors safely. Participate in teaching and mentoring. Ensure compliance with legal and institutional policies.
Qualifications: MD or DO with valid Oregon medical license. Board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry preferred. Current BLS certification. Experience in mental health or forensic settings preferred.:
