We are looking for a Quality Control Inspector/CMM Programming-2nd Shift to join our Summerville, SC location.
Your Responsibilities:
The Quality Control Inspector/CMM Programmer conducts inspection and testing of materials, parts, and products to ensure adherence to established standards of strength, quality, cleanliness, and endurance

Hourly: $32.00-$38.00

Your Challenge:
Perform independent inspection via dimensional measurements
Perform independent inspections to validate materials, parts, and products meet established standards of strength, quality, cleanliness and endurance.
Ensure work is done safely and meets quality standards
Provide a great level of attention to detail and focus on the given task
Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency
Prepare official inspection reports for submittal to the government
Conduct material receipt and shipping inspections
Assist in developing inspection requirements based on component design drawings
What you Bring: Due to DoD requirements, candidates must be US citizens
Must be able to obtain and maintain DoD Security clearances and approvals
High school diploma or equivalent
Extensive experience programming and operating CMMs (Zeiss/Calypso preferred) with experience programming for parts of small and large dimensions
Ability to read and interpret documents furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form including but not limited to drawings, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, quality manuals, and procedures
Proficiency with standard dimensional measurement equipment, including analog micrometers, depth gauges, height gauges, bore gauges, calipers, etc.
Great understanding of GD&T to accurately ensure parts meet drawing/print specifications
Navy Nuclear Propulsion Program experience is a plus
Understanding of machine setup and fixturing and experience measuring items while on machines
Experience with Navy, ISO 9001, NQA-1, or 10 CFR 50 compliant quality programs
Familiarity with NAVSEA steam plant cleanliness controls and Level I material control is a plus
High-mix, low volume manufacturing experience
Lifting objects weighing 50 pounds to waist height and transporting 10 feet.
