Who you are:
High school graduate
Two or more years of customer service work experience at a concierge, front desk or similar position
One or more years of PBX experience is desirable
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills needed for telephone and in-person contact with residents, staff, and visitors
Job Summary:
The Receptionist is responsible for greeting & directing residents and visitors while delivering exceptional customer service assistance. This entails answering calls and fielding them accordingly, monitoring and responding to emergency call panels and situations, addressing resident and visitor questions and needs, performing routine office and administrative support work for staff and residents, and providing an overall welcoming environment for both Sur and Norte lobbies (incumbent may be assigned to more than one location) of the facility. This position requires a working knowledge of the activities performed at each reception desk.
Essential Job Duties:
Answer and direct phone calls in a polite and friendly manner
Welcome residents and visitors in a warm and friendly manner, and answer any questions they may have
Maintain lobby, reception area, and all common areas in a clean and tidy manner at all times
Monitors annunciator panels for emergencies and fire alarms, responds quickly and appropriately in accordance with facility policies and procedures
Communicate clearly and professionally through 2-way radio to other departments
Monitor lobby security
Operate standard office equipment on a regular basis, including a fax machine, a copy machine, and a computer
Keep detailed and accurate records of visitors through Accushield
Receive deliveries; log, sort, and distribute incoming mail and packages
Receive, log, and distribute resident prescriptions
Take inventory of reception supplies and restock as needed
Maintains resident census reports
Coordinate information distribution between the reception desk and departments as appropriate.
Maintain the general reception filing system
Provide general administrative support to staff and residents as needed
Provide lunch and dinner reservations for the dining rooms
Accepts tray order requests on Saturday and Sunday
Pay Rate & Schedule:
Starting at $18.00
Monday - Friday: 7am to 11 am
All Employees must be able to pass background checks (fitness for duty physical, fingerprinting, employment references) as required by a licensed residential care facility.
