Shipping And Receiving Coordinator

Full time, year-round position

Job Responsibilities:

• Generates complete "Bills of Lading" for shipments
• Verifies pricing on purchase orders to the match the invoice
• Loads and unloads trucks
• Builds wooden crates for aircraft parts
• Obtains rate quotes from various shipping companies
• Drive and operate forklift
• Packages items securely to avoid shipping damages
• Invoices outgoing shipments

Qualifications and Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Must be 18+ years old with a valid driver's license and clean driving record
• 1-2 years of experience working in shipping and receiving, inventory management a plus
• Experience with commercial documents for international shipping
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; Word, Excel and Outlook
• Excellent attention to detail with strong analysis skills
• Regular and punctual attendance
• Enjoys working independently while still contributing to the overall team and self-motivated

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift & move up to 70 pounds
• Willing and able to work in all weather conditions outdoors
• Comfortable with long periods of standing and walking

Pay and Benefits:

• 21.30 to 25.00 per hour

Note: Candidates are required to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug test. Preference given to forklift certified people with current shipping experience, computer literacy / MS office skills, and patterns of strong work ethic.
