Salary range: $23.00 - $27.00, depending on your qualifications

Who You Are

You are hardworking with an eye for details, who can manage all outbound customer orders and inbound shipments. You possess excellent communication skills, have a heart for customer service, and that are needed for being the main point of contact for shipping & purchasing.

What You'll Do

Shipping and materials logistics:

• Accurately process shipments according to customer specifications and company policies/procedures.
• Create and process all required paperwork for customer shipments and purchase orders.
• Work with project managers, scheduler, and leadership to provide outstanding customer service.
• Coordinate shipments to reduce congestion and ensure sufficient staff for loading and unloading.
• Assist with loading/unloading of shipments plus movement of materials within the building as needed.
• Coordinating arrival of inbound and outbound shipments
• Receive incoming shipments of materials and supplies, verifying accuracy of incoming orders.
• Performing other administrative tasks for the shipping department

Purchasing:

• Be the centralized purchasing point for the binding and shipping operations.
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels for uninterrupted production while maximizing profitability.

Miscellaneous:

• Exceed customer expectations by being an excellent communicator both internally and externally.
• Log all pertinent information accurately in all software systems.
• Be an excellent steward of company resources, including labor, time and finances.
• Perform various other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

• Able to work 40 hours, willingly work overtime as necessary
• Able to identify and prioritize items with the largest impact on quality and profitability
• Have excellent attention to detail and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Possess the ability to understand the technical details of production to ensure accuracy.
