Minimum 1+ years Paraprofessional or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This role focuses on facilitating virtual speech services for K-12 students identified with speech and communication disorders. You will serve as the on-site facilitator supporting remote speech-language pathologists (SLPs) by assisting students during therapy sessions across multiple campuses near Theodore, AL.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the on-site representative for virtual speech services, providing hands-on support to students during remote sessions
• Assist and support students with communication therapies led by SLPs and other clinicians
• Manage technology and ensure smooth interaction between the student and virtual clinician
• Clearly communicate updates or issues to relevant parties as needed
• Support a caseload of approximately 60 students ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade, working about 15 hours per week on an itinerant schedule

Qualifications:

• Experience as a paraprofessional, speech aide, or school teacher preferred
• Tech-savvy with the ability to manage virtual therapy equipment and platforms; training provided if needed
• Must be a local US citizen, 18 years or older
• Able to provide two professional references
• Strong communication and organizational skills to effectively bridge between students and clinicians

Location and Schedule:

• On-site role supporting multiple private schools near Theodore, AL
• Contract position from March 2026 to May 29, 2026
• Approximately 15 hours weekly
