Dealership Title Clerk

Dealership Title Clerk is responsible for processing vehicle registration and titles using the respective states/agencies guidelines in a timely and accurate manner to assure a high level of customer satisfaction while satisfying Arrowhead policies.

This position is supervised by the Assistant Controller.

Areas of Responsibility

• Accurately process incoming titles daily, working in a timely manner to change ownership into customer or Dealerships name.
• Process vehicle registration and title paperwork on all new and preowned vehicles sold.
• Ensure all liens are quickly and accurately placed on titles.
• Troubleshoot and problem-solving of any specific issues related to titles; including odometer discrepancies and lien issues.
• Maintains strict compliance with all title laws and filing requirements.
• Maintain a professional, calm manner when working to resolve customer issues.
• Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Constructively communicate with other dealership personnel as required to satisfy customer needs.
• Report to management any situation or condition that jeopardizes the safety, welfare, or integrity of the dealership, its personnel, or customers.
• Maintain personal grooming, hygiene, and uniform standards according to departmental policies.
• Arrive at work, take breaks, and depart work at the times designated by management.
• Attend meetings and trainings as scheduled.
• Ensure that work areas and customer waiting areas are kept clean.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent
• 18 years or older
• Possess an acceptable driving record and valid driver's license in state of residence
• A criminal history background check will be conducted prior to beginning employment
• Clear pre-employment drug screen
