What Learning Development and Delivery contributes to Cardinal Health
This team develops and implements training solutions that support employee growth and align with business strategies. We assess learning needs and create training programs, manage third-party trainings, and collaborate with leaders and subject matter experts to deliver effective learning experiences.
The Learning Development and Delivery team facilitates instructor-led training and elevates the value that employees derive from learning opportunities. Responsibilities include preparing training materials, conducting evaluations, and coordinating training schedules based on necessity.
Qualifications
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
A minimum of 6 years of business experience preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to adjust schedule based on training needs

Possess comprehensive knowledge in specialized areas

Responsibilities:
Act as the primary training liaison for employees, addressing requests and concerns
Deliver training for programs like New Employee Orientation, Pharma Distribution, EH&S, and more.
Prepare for new hire sessions by securing logistics and communicating expectations
Present learning programs using pre-developed materials
Conduct ongoing training as tools and systems are updated
Provide immediate feedback on training content effectiveness
Coordinate with site leadership on new hire readiness
Support new training technologies and methodologies
Advise on training program improvements and updates
Guide development for subject matter experts and peer trainers
Monitor peer trainer performance and offer feedback
Attend certification and development sessions
Act on feedback from coordinators and the learning team
Engage in professional development opportunities
Perform additional tasks as assigned
