Weekend Manufacturing Technician

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Weekend Manufacturing Technician to join their team. As a Manufacturing Technician, you will be part of the production support team, contributing to efficient manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Fort Payne, AL

Pay Range: $17.00/hour

Shift: Friday to Sunday, 5:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

What's the Job?

  • Complete manufacturing equipment related installations and ramp-ups
  • Gather, record, and analyze production information to optimize processes
  • Perform repairs and retests for products and manufacturing facilities
  • Oversee the use of machine control systems in manufacturing operations
  • Develop and verify manuscripts for machine control systems to support manufacturing requirements

What's Needed?

  • Basic knowledge and experience of principles, procedures, and work routines in manufacturing
  • Up to 1 year of experience in a related field
  • 2 years of vocational training or equivalent experience
  • Ability to operate specialized machines and tools effectively
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
