Barista Employment Type: Part-time/ Event-Based Reports To: Concessions Manager/ Supervisor

Position Summary The Barista is responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee and beverage items while delivering friendly, efficient, and professional guest service. This role supports a positive guest experience in fast-paced event environments. Key Responsibilities

* Prepare and serve coffee, espresso, and specialty beverages including beer * Operate espresso machines, brewers, and POS systems accurately * Maintain cleanliness and organization of coffee and service areas * Restock coffee, syrups, milk, cups, and supplies as needed * Follow food safety, sanitation, and beverage quality standards * Provide friendly, professional guest service * Work efficiently as part of a team during peak service periods

Qualifications & Requirements

* Previous barista or food service experience preferred (not required) * Ability to work flexible schedules, including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays * Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs * Strong customer service and communication skills * Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented

Certifications

* Food Handler Certification * TABC

Work Environment

* Fast-paced café, concessions, and event settings * Exposure to heat, equipment, and cleaning chemicals
