Part-time Dental Assistant

Dental Solutions is looking for an experienced Part-time Dental Assistant to join our friendly, patient-focused team here in Wyncote, Pennsylvania.

Compensation for this role is $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Clinical support: Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists during procedures.
• Patient care: Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Radiography & diagnostics: Take and develop X-rays, assist with impressions, and maintain study models.
• Compliance & safety: Ensure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow workplace regulations.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including scheduling and patient intake (if needed)
• Helps dentist manage dental and medical emergencies by maintaining CPR certification, emergency drug and oxygen supply, and emergency telephone directory.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year of hands on experience as a DA
• X-Ray certification is required
• High school diploma or equivalent

Dental Assistants are also expected to maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and infection control training as required by law.
