Medical Assistant

The HSHS is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our Prairie Cardiovascular practice. Ideal candidates are patient focused, mission driven caregivers looking for an opportunity to apply clinical knowledge to coordinate and perform hands on care to support expert, compassionate care to our cardiac patients. Position specifics:

  • Department: Cardiology
  • Core Function: Nursing Support
  • Schedule: 40 Hours/Week, Monday-Friday
  • Facility: Springfield Prairie Cardiovascular
  • Clinic Location: Springfield, IL
  • Sign On Bonus: $5,000
  • Compensation that aligns with your experience

Education Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED is required.

Experience Qualifications:

  • Basic business office skills and computer skills (Microsoft Suite) are required.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and prior healthcare experience is preferred.

Certifications, Licenses and Registrations:

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) is required or within 90 days of hire date.
