Job Overview  We are seeking a dedicated and versatile Medical Assistant / Admin to join our integrative psychiatric practice. This hybrid role provides essential clinical and administrative support, helping us deliver holistic, patient-centered mental health care. A core component of this role involves general medical assisting and clinic administration, with opportunities to support specialized treatments like Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS). The ideal candidate is a dependable team player with strong interpersonal skills who thrives in a collaborative, compassionate, and healing environment. Responsibilities Clinical Support & Patient Care: Conduct patient intakes, record basic vitals, and prepare patients for psychiatric evaluations and treatments. Prepare, calibrate, and assist with or administer TMS treatments according to physician-directed protocols (training provided if needed). Monitor patients during clinical procedures and treatments, addressing any discomfort or adverse responses. Educate patients on our integrative treatment processes using clear, empathetic communication. Accurately document patient histories, treatment parameters, patient responses, and session notes in the EMR. Administrative Duties: Manage front-desk operations, including scheduling and coordinating appointments for multiple providers and specialized treatments. Serve as a welcoming first point of contact for incoming referrals and patient inquiries. Perform routine clinic maintenance, including equipment checks and basic troubleshooting. Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant treatment and reception environment. Strictly follow all safety, infection control, and HIPAA confidentiality standards. Requirements Background:  Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or in a clinical administrative role. (Experience in psychiatry or integrative/holistic health is highly preferred). Specialized Experience:  Prior hands-on experience with Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) is a strong plus, but not required. Organization:  Strong attention to detail, multi-tasking abilities, and time management skills. Communication:  Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on patient empathy and care. Collaboration:  Proven team player with the ability to work cross-functionally with physicians and support staff. Demeanor:  Professionalism, reliability, adaptability, and sound judgment. Temperament:  Ability to remain calm, patient-focused, and highly responsive in a dynamic mental health setting.
