A school-based occupational therapy position is available in Atwater, CA, for a contract role supporting students' developmental and educational success. This opportunity focuses on providing specialized occupational therapy services in a school setting to help students improve their functional abilities and fully participate in academic activities. Responsibilities:
* Conduct assessments to determine students occupational therapy needs. * Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student. * Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress. * Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed. * Provide direct therapy services aimed at improving fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living tasks. * Participate in meetings and contribute to the development of individualized education programs (IEPs).
Qualifications:
* Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) with experience in school-based settings. * Strong understanding of pediatric development and educational environments. * Ability to work collaboratively with school staff, students, and families. * Excellent communication and organizational skills. * Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations governing school therapy services.
