Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A school-based occupational therapy position is available in Atwater, CA, for a contract role supporting students' developmental and educational success. This opportunity focuses on providing specialized occupational therapy services in a school setting to help students improve their functional abilities and fully participate in academic activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to determine students occupational therapy needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed.
  • Provide direct therapy services aimed at improving fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living tasks.
  • Participate in meetings and contribute to the development of individualized education programs (IEPs).

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) with experience in school-based settings.
  • Strong understanding of pediatric development and educational environments.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with school staff, students, and families.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations governing school therapy services.
